Doubling my 9–5 salary several times in my career is something I never thought would happen. My career went from startup land to call center operator in a short space of time.

That meant going from six-figures down to the minimum wage in my home country of Australia. And to top it off, I have no degrees in anything business related — unless you count a sound engineering qualification.

If an uneducated guy from the home of the Kangaroo can double their salary, there is definitely hope for you. Popular career websites like “Seek” suggest the typical advice about doing better in your performance review or getting more education from a university. This advice is out of date and I have watched many colleagues fall for this trap and only end up disappointed.

Doubling your salary, or at the very least increasing it significantly, is about breaking the norm and trying a few things that are a bit more radical as you’re about to see with these simple tips below.

The goal should be more than money

Okay so you can make more money but if that’s your only goal, the extra zeroes on your bank balance will get really boring real quick.

REGISTRATION TERMS & CONDITIONS
Candidate must be age of 18 or over.
Candidate must pay full fee in advance before starting the courses. The course fee is non-refundable
Candidate must provide all the ID’s required for the Course Registration and bring originals on the course day. Candidate must keep on photo ID on the day of exam, Candidate cannot sit in exam if he/she do not bring original ID on the day of exam.
Candidate course dates can be cancelled or change any time for operational needs.
Candidate result can be delayed for any reason.
Candidate must follow all the site policies and procedures during the course.
Candidate is not allowed to Smoke in the Centre.
Candidate is not allowed to bring anyone during the course and exam.
Candidate has to be punctual all the time during the course and exam.
Provide the correct details and document, providing false documents will result cancelling Candidate registration and fee will be non-refundable.
Put the correct details when you registers for the course as we will not take any responsibility for mistakes in certificates.
DECLARATION
I declare that I have read and agreed the Terms & Conditions of Registration correctly and, I agree with all the terms & conditions and in case of any breach, centre can cancel my registration and I am not eligible to claim the fee I have paid for Registration.
